We got to our B&B right around 4. We got settled in. It was really adorable!
Our BIG bed. We have a queen size at home, so it was nice to be able to stretch out.
Big bed… Little baby.
To Our balcony
Bathroom, with a claw foot tub – Just like at home.
On our Balcony. Cute BLUE door!
We relaxed for a little while, and we then went to find some grub. We asked the people at the B&B what was good and they told us about a place just around the corner. So, we went there to check it out.
St. Charles Tavern. It was very good. Kind of a hole in the wall type place. Wes got red beans and rice with a pork chop and I got a shrimp poboy.
We didn’t go out on the town or anything, we did drive around downtown to see the lights. Everything was covered in lights! It was very pretty.
Lucy loved our B&B!
I must add this: I LOVED our King size bed. I could stretch out and had no idea Wes was even in the bed with me. We always bump into each other in our bed and the other person is always “on my side”. This bed had plenty of room. Too bad a king size bed wouldn’t fit in our bedroom… DANGIT. Ha!
Anyways, the next morning we got up and had breakfast. We had grits, toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, coffee, and juice. I got regular sausage, and Wesley went out on a limb and tried the alligator sausage. I tried a piece of his. It wasn’t bad. Tasted much like regular sausage. The breakfast over all was VERY good. Of course.. I love breakfast.
We left around 11 and got to Wesley’s dad’s house about lunch time. We had Taco Bell for lunch that day.
We had a good Christmas with them. One day we drove around to look at the old homes in the area. I saw a BEAUTIFUL Victorian home. It was GORGEOUS. Makes me want to remodel. Ha! I wiiish.
I love going and looking at the pretty houses down there.
I can’t wait to go back and stay at our little B&B again! It was so much fun.
