New Quiet Book

I threw all caution to the wind, and I made a new one. The original one I made was… sorta HUGE. It was like a foot tall, and about 6″ thick. It was the only thing I could put in my diaper bag. Nothing else would fit. So, I had to make a change.

And this time, I just used my own creativity instead of (basically) copying all the books I saw on the internet. And I actually think it turned out WAY better.

Instead of binding it all the way down, I just put a ring in the corner. And it’s MUCH smaller. Like 4×6″.

So here are all of the pages! A pocket. Lucy loves the idea of putting stuff in other stuff. So, a pocket with some goodies!

And tucked away inside…

A little Lucy inside!

It’s sewn to a ribbon so she can’t lose any of the pieces.

Next up, we have the pearl maze:

There are a hundred ways to string this thing, so she’ll have fun figuring it out.

This one was supposed to be cuter than it is. It’s just got peas in it (dry peas…)

This on is for texture! On here is ribbon, elastic, velcro, fabric, the other side of velcro, felt, and lace.

Then we have the owl page, where you can tie the ribbon into a bow.

Next, is Snip Snap – where she can snap the ribbon together, and even mix and match them.

Then we have a zipper page. She loves to do zippers.

And then a counting game. It’s just beads on a ribbon, but she can count them, and slide them around. It helps with her fine motor movement.

And there you have it! All for this little munchkin:

It’s been kinda chili, so she wore Daddy’s hat. Cute right?

She’s going to be 16 months old in 2 days. ::MELTDOWN::

I’m okay.

And in case you didn’t see it from my facebook… Lucy’s newest video. She wasn’t hurt. The ground was like, a foot away. She landed in dry grass. Scared her, but she didn’t cry.

But if she watches this video, she does cry. Crazy baby.

    1. We use it at church, and will eventually use it whenever she needs to be quiet somewhere else too! It’s just a fun little thing for her to play with that doesn’t make any sounds.
