Monday was my very last day of work. It was bittersweet – bitter because I do love my job so very much and I do hate to be losing an income. And sweet because – even though I only worked about 10 hours a week – I feel like I’m getting my life back. Having any portion of your day being told where to be and when and for how long isn’t what I like.
I came home and we did school. Tuesday was school and swimming. And I left my phone inside so you don’t get to see my kids splashing around.
You do get to see this picture.
It’s Judah and my super messy table. That’s what my table almost always looks like. We live inour house and I try and keep it clean, but with a (SERIOUSLY) almost 5 year old (4 more days!) and an almost 3 year old… it’s not always realistic for it to be perfectly tidy all the time.
My kids are kids. And they are crazy. And non stop. And messy. And it’s going to be a transistion to go from even part time work to full time with them, but I’m ready to jump in. Especially now. Friday is my very last day of working and I’ll be glad when it’s over and done.
