There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears. (Philippians 1:6 MSG)
I’m the worlds worst at not finishing what I start. I’ve got a hundred started projects. I have started to get better at completing them, but there are lots of things that go unfinished.
Thank goodness God isn’t like that with us.
We may be works-in-progress, but we will be completed in the end.
He’s got that under control.
He sees the big picture too. He knows how our current situations will end. He knows all the details. He knows the final pieces. He isn’t in the dark about what’s to come.
And thank goodness. He always takes care of us. He wants us to be happy and joyful- and he gives us peace of mind- because he is in control.
Take a breather. He’s got this.
Sunday was ABSOLUTELY gorgeous. A Perfect first day of fall. We went and got some snacks and went to the lake to picnic. I seriously took some of the cutest pictures ever – with my phone! Here’s the pics 🙂
This little guy enjoyed watching Daddy and Lucy throw the frisbee.
She’s pretty good! She can throw it well. Doesn’t always go where she wants it though…
She doesn’t mind. Daddy’s fast…
Checking out the Lake.
Caught this perfectely!
Chunking a walnut! See it?
My iPhone is impressive. Not gonna lie!
Officially my favorite picture ever. It’s my background on my phone. This is Lucy doing her “BIG HUG run”. She runs with arms open until she crashes into me, into a BIG HUG. It’s absolutely the sweetest thing.
That’s my three favorite folks on this planet.
Me and the little man played a little frisbee too.
I could kiss him all day.
And this beaut!
And then.. This.
Gotta nap even on a beautiful day I guess! And that one tooth. So funny. Poor guy. There is actually one right next to it that has come in. And one on top. He has about 3 more on top trying to break through. He’s had a rough time with his little teefies.
Ok – I got errands today. Ya’ll stay dry!
